A typical girl meets boy story. Ben and Julia met in Wellfleet, MA in 2012 working for the summer. Since then their love for warm sun drenched summer months chomping down on local lobster and slinging oysters led them to start Shuck Food Truck. The food of Shuck Food Truck is inspired by a love of cooking fish right off of the boat or pier, cooking with friends and indulging in late night bites.
Shuck Food Truck started out as a way to savor the flavors of summer a little longer and bring those seasonally inspired dishes back to our friends, both old and new.

Bio: Will try anything once. Ben started in restaurants when he was in High School working at his family restaurant. He worked in Denver, CO for four years at The Columbine Counrty Club before returning back to Wellfleet. His favorite things to do in the kitchen is baking bread when he gets the chanced shucking clams. Ben was the Chef Mac's Seafood in Wellfleet, MA before leaving to start Shuck Food Truck.

Bio: Is a jane of all trades. Julia, like Ben, knew what she wanted to do early on. She graduated from Minuteman Tech in Lexington and then finished School at the Culinary Institute of America. She is as passionate about baking and she is about fish. Her two favorite things to do in the kitchen are filleting fish and decorating cakes. She has worked for Oran Mor on Nantucket, Abigail Kirsch and most recently as a Restaurant Manager at Beat Brasserie.
